Leadership:

Fidelis Osita Oleh (Director)

Oleh is the Director of Hope e. V. He co-founded this organisation with Mirjam Rülke. Oleh, a Nigerian from Nenwe Enugu state, holds a Bachelors degree in Political Science and a Masters degree in International Relations from the University of Nigeria.

He is a social commentator, whose previous position as a  mobilization officer for public/ social works brought him much closer to conflict management. He is resident in Germany with his family.

Mirjam Rülke (Vice Director)

Mirjam Rülke is Vice Director and co-founder of HOPE e.V. She studied in Marburg and Freiburg (Germany) Social/Cultural Anthropology and History of Religion. Since 2006 Mirjam Rülke carried out different field researches in Germany and England with a focus on Migration, Gender, Ageing and the right of asylum in Germany.

Currently she is a PhD student in Freiburg (Germany) with the topic „Migration, intergenerational relations and images of ageing“. She is member of the Medical Anthropology Research Group (MARG) from the University and Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss TPH) in Basel (Swiss).

Christiane Samuelis (Financial Secretary)

Christiane Samuelis absolved an Education as European Secretary and is a teacher for French in VHS. She is our financial secretary and translator for French.
